Portsonachan Hotel, Argyll (between Inverary & Oban)

This hotel are repeating the deal we used when we stayed there on our tour to the Hebrides last summer: http://www.portsonachanhotel.com/default.asp

3 nights B&B for £33 pppn, pay now (credit card, for security) & book your stay when you're ready, any time in the next 18 months.(this is much cheaper than any of the 'deals' on their website)
Contact is their telemarketing consultant, Shiela, tel: 01638 577501

Hotel rooms are good, but well worth upgrading to get a loch view. Bar, bar meals & restaurant are excellent. They also have lodges and cabins in the surrounding woodland. Fishing rights on Loch Awe. Very peaceful, about 3 miles down a lochside single track road from the A810 Inverary to Oban road.
Loch Awe is the longest freshwater loch in Scotland.

Good venue for an 'upmarket' TJ long weekend?
